International Labour Organization - ppt download: International Labour Organization The ILO was created in 1919, as part of the Treaty of Versailles that ended World War I, to reflect the belief that universal and lasting peace can be accomplished only if it is based on social justice. The International Labour Organization is the UN specialized agency which seeks the promotion of social justice and internationally recognized human and labour rights. At the end of world war 1, a peace conference was convened which led to the creation of the International Labour Organization in It became the first specialized agency of the UN in 1946.
